Health and Care

Cats are driven by three main goals in life: nourishment, survival and freedom. Everything else is dedicated to those goals, which are main principles of cats.

They have a stable character and take well to being kept as indoor only cats, making them ideal for apartment living. Sometimes they spend hours sleeping, they like to cuddle and supervise household activities. These cats are also popularly known as plush bears, because of the dense and plush coats. This breed is very healthy and has a long lifespan. You can expect your cat to live between 14 and 20 years.
Fundamental Breeding Guidance
Three basic advices of all successful cat owners that enjoy a lovely companionship with cats are:
First – always encourage positive and avoid negative interactions with your cat.
Second – the owner superior, not a cat. The owner decides, the cat only says what she would want. Human intelligence is much more advanced than cats so we have to act like that too.
Third – exclude the second advice from the content of the first one. To establishing and maintain yourself at a top of the hierarchy you should not use negative interactions. Negative interactions are castration, visits to veterinary (never hold your cat while the vet is giving her an injection!), prohibiting her from going out and similar. As you have learned already, cats are intelligent creatures that understand even though they have no idea what you are talking about! In their world, words mean nothing. Their world is the one where smells, movements and intonation speak. Their senses are advanced to almost perfection. However, when you prohibit your cat from doing something, offer her something in return that she will like.
